Continuing coverage: UTMB has provided pediatric primary care in Alvin since 1995, with Dr. Syed Kazmi, the city’s medical officer, serving as director. Now, 19 years after opening its doors to the city’s children, the UTMB Alvin Clinic is expanding its services, hours and footprint and moved into a new 10,000-square-foot building where adults as well as children will be able to go for primary care medical services.
