The Bay Area is on the move with a number of projects in the works aimed at keeping traffic flowing on thoroughfares and roadways. Officials are working to create the needed infrastructure for mobility in the area — adding lanes and other improvements to make for quicker commutes and yielding opportunities for economic development. The Bay Area Houston Transportation Partnership works on ways to mitigate traffic problems. Major projects include the UTMB main campus’ pedestrian and transit improvements and the UTMB Victory Lakes campus’ pedestrian and transit improvements.
