Health care activity in the Bay Area is off the charts and it’s all state-of-the art. UTMB’s $82 million expansion at its Specialty Care Center at Victory Lakes is well underway between the League City Parkway and FM 646 along the Gulf Freeway. The 142,000 square foot expansion is expected to create between 175 and 210 new full-time jobs. About half of the jobs will be in nursing and the rest in roles such as radiology, physical therapy, surgery, admitting, billing and lab support.
